Rick Ross has revealed that codeine abuse caused him to have seizures and he disclosed the scariest seizure he had, which became his turning point. The rapper released an autobiography titled Hurricanes, in which he revealed that his stay at the hospital in 2018 was as a result of a seizure brought on by codeine abuse.  In the book, the rapper went further to describe what happened on the night of his most severe seizure in 2018. He said the seizure, which was brought on by a mixture of codeine, alcohol and other drugs, made him foam at the mouth and defecate on himself while he was in bed with a woman.
